The City of Greendale Administration Office, Utility Office, and Civil City Garages will be closed on Friday, April 3rd in observance of Good Friday. We will reopen on Monday, April 6th. We wish everyone a happy holiday weekend.

There is an $85 deposit due at the time of booking. The date cannot be held or guaranteed unless the deposit is paid when the reservation is made . - Water Main Replacement Work on Nowlin Avenue to Begin April 1st
The City of Greendale would like to inform residents that water main replacement work is expected to begin around Wednesday, April 1st along Nowlin Avenue, from Haag Avenue to the underpass with staging and preparation work. During this time, traffic control measures will be in place, and motorists should expect lane restrictions in the area. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the construction zone. The water main replacement construction will start on Monday, April 6th. The electric project is still ongoing but will not be in the same area (Nowlin North section) during the water main replacement. The electric project will instead be working from Parkside to Probasco. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve infrastructure in our community.

The City of Greendale is pleased to share that Greendale Main Street will host the inaugural Greendale PickleFest Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, May 9 at our pickle ball courts in Greendale Park at 853 Nowlin Ave, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. Greendale residents are invited to take part in a day of friendly competition! The tournament will feature a mixed doubles format and is open to beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. Construction is officially underway on Greendale’s new 176-unit, market rate apartment complex near I-275. This $36 million investment by Kendall Property Group represents an exciting step forward for our community’s growth and housing opportunities. This project supporting Greendale’s continued economic development and long-term vision was made possible in part by a $2 million Indiana READI 2.0 grant and a $2.7 million Redevelopment Tax Credits award. We are grateful for the partnership and support from Governor Mike Braun, Indiana Economic Development Corporation , and SEI READI that helped move this project from an idea to reality. We look forward to sharing updates as construction continues and this development begins to take shape for the future of Greendale.
