Bagged recyclables cannot be processed properly and may end up being discarded instead of recycled. Due to the level red travel warning, Greendale’s utility and administrative offices are closed today. Please continue to keep vehicles parked off of the streets while our Greendale crews work to clear the snow. Tonight’s BOW and Planning meetings are canceled and will be rescheduled in the near future. Avoid going out if at all possible, and please check on your neighbors as the bitter cold sets in for the next week.

In anticipation of the snowstorm this weekend, please remove any parked vehicles from the streets from noon on Saturday through noon on Monday. Our Greendale snow clearing crews work from the center of the streets to the curbs as the snowfall allows. The City of Greendale would like to remind residents to please keep sidewalks clear and fully passable. When parking in driveways, please ensure vehicles do not extend onto or block the sidewalk. Clear sidewalks are essential for safe pedestrian travel, especially for residents who rely on wheelchairs, mobility devices, strollers, or other ADA-accessible accommodations.
