Now Hiring for Summer 2026 at Greendale Pool

Looking for a rewarding and energetic way to spend your summer? The City of Greendale is now accepting applications for lifeguards, concession stand staff, front desk attendants, pool managers, and concession stand managers at the Greendale Pool.

It’s a great opportunity to build work experience, enjoy the outdoors, and work alongside friends and neighbors serving the Greendale community!

Previous employees must re-apply. Priority consideration goes to applications received before the Wednesday, April 1st deadline. You may also pick up a paper application and return it completed in person at our city administration office at 500 Ridge Avenue.

Need a Lifeguard Certification or Renewal?

Lifeguard certifications must be renewed every two years, and both recertification and full certification courses (for those 15 and up) will be offered over the next three months at South Dearborn High School.

Recertification Dates:

Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00am on March 14th & 15th, March 21st & 22nd, and April 25th & 26th.

Full Certification Dates:

- Tryouts on Thursday, April 16th at 7:00pm; classes on April 18th & 19th at 9:00am

- Tryouts on Thursday, April 30th at 7:00pm; classes on May 2nd & 3rd at 9:00am

- Tryouts on Thursday, May 7th at 7:00pm; classes on May 9th & 10th at 9:00am

Cost:

$300 for full certification

$150 for recertification
