CITY OF GREENDALE, INDIANA

GREENDALE POOL RENTAL AGREEMENT

For and in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, the City of Greendale, Indiana (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) and ___________________________

(hereinafter referred to as the “Renter”) agree as follows:

1. Renter shall rent the Greendale Pool facility from the City for 2 hours for the period 7:00 - 9:00 on the __________ of ______________________, 20_______.

2. Rental shall pay the City at the time the party is booked and the time of execution of this agreement the sum of $_____________($250 for 2 hours + $17.50 sales tax =$267.50). Party begins at 7.00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm.

3. The City shall provide lifeguards and a pool manager or assistant pool manager.

4. The Renter agrees to clean up the Greendale Pool facility at the end of Renter’’s rental time. It is not the responsibility of the lifeguards or the Greendale Pool Manager to clean up after the Renter and Renter’s guests.

5. The presence or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

6. All safety rules during regular hours (as posted on signs) apply to pool parties. 

7. The Renter shall be responsible to the City for any damage to the Greendale Pool facility.

8. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold the City harmless for any and all demands, claims and liabilities arising from the Renters or the Renter’s guest’s presence at or use of the Greendale Pool facility, including, but not limited to, any demands, claims or liabilities for personal injuries.

9. If rain causes cancellation of party, Renter has the option of (1) requisition refund for party or (2) rescheduling party on the next available date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - POOL RENTAL AGREEMENT

1. HOURS OF PARTY: Party begins at 7:00 pm and party ends at 9:00 pm. Patrons must be out of pool within 15 minutes after party or 9:15 pm.

2. TABLES (in pool area):  Tables available to put up under Large Umbrella next to concession stand. Ask Pool Manager or Asst Pool Manager for tables. 

3. GRILLS:  No grills in Pool or Concession area.

4.  RULES: Observe all pool safety rules.

5. NO POOL PARTIES WILL BE SCHEDULED AFTER 07/31/2024
